We don't need no stink'in bathroom 

We started painting. Tonight we will will have a toilet again. By Wednesday we will have have our house closed up. By next weekend we hope to have the rest of the house to ourselves, to paint and continue on the cleanup. 

We are almost there. Its chilly this morning so the fire feels really good.

Our kitchen used to be the lightest room in the house. Now, with the new windows, and fewer walls, the rest of the house is brighter than the kitchen.

We bought our paint and hope they will finish the componding in time for us to be able to finish the painting by the end of next weekend.

Both of us are ready to start getting back to normal. A shower in the house would be a great start. I keep looking at the pond, wondering if I should just jump in, rather than drive to the "Y". 42 degrees mmmmm. 

The stove is our friend. especially with the temperature at 25 degrees in the morning. They don't make portajohns with heated seats.

The last bit of deconstruction, just about done. Then begins the cleaning, again, and again, and..... 

Our house is a fort. The walls are 1x5 boards laid up flat, and tied at the corners. Amazing. The boards are staggered so they can be plastered directly. 

The deconstruction went really well, but for some reason, Jake kept wanting to stop and "go for coffee and donuts". What's up with that?
